Make it out of solid lead and I am all for it.  :D

I don't get it.

Why would you need to tazer someone at range?  If they are at range they aren't a threat to you.  If they have a firearm, you want to shoot them with lead anyway.  If they are at range with a hostage you want to shoot them with lead anyway.

The potential for abuse of this weapons seems crazy.

I was shot in the backside/upper back leg w/ rock salt once.  (cut thru the yard of an elderly chap)  I was prob. 12yrs old ish.

I ran home and jumped in the bath and let it all dissolve.  (not fun)

That was absolutely horrible.

I strongly encourage you NOT to get shot by by rock salt.

Like most things, Tasers can be put to good use, or bad use.  What if people were rioting, and starting fires??  Smashing windows, or over-turning cars mabye?

Do you want to instead shoot and kill them?

I have owned my personal Taser for two full days now, and have yet to Taser anyone.

Tasers have reduced injuries to both officers and suspects in police departments that have adopted them.

Would you rather have someone tasered, or beaten senseless with batons?  Which do you think has the greater risk to the suspect??
