Anyone watching the National Finals Rodeo? This has been a very good year! Good stock and great performances.  I have 2 locals in this year, Trevor Brazile broke the record for All-Around earnings (that he set) and is a lock to win All-Around Cowboy for the second year in a row.

Clint Cooper is doing well in calf roping. He finished fourth on Sunday. Both are from Decatur, Texas.

I can't believe there's no rodeo fans in here. What a bunch of cityboys!

Seriously, tonight was another great round. Trevor Brazile shunned off a herniated disc to win the calf roping with a 6.4! 6 point 4 seconds!!! That's just crazy!!!

Cowboy up!

Hehe we tend to do things a little differently here in Oz, but the basics are still the same :D

The last Rodeo We attended was at Mud, Bulls and Music at Landcruiser Mountain Adventure Park at Jimna near Kilcoy in 2004.
At the time I was working for the local RACQ depot. We ran the workshop repairing and (more often) recovering some very broken 4WD's. Oddly enough, until we took a wheel off the front of it, the workshops supercharged shorty Pajero totally owned them all. Mind you Greg (the boss) is a total nutter when off road, and at least he drove it all the way back to the repair station with one wheel sticking out sideways!

I can't tell you how proud I am of Trevor. He's possibly the greatest all-around cowboy, EVER!  The guy is living a dream. Hollywood couldn't script it better.

I just wish Ty Murray would get back on a horse, and get injured just enough to make him undesirable to a certain folk singer and make her single again :t nothing serious or permanent.

He's dating Jewel if you didn't know.

this is meant sarcastically and not real for those who may not get the humor intended
