It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

Wurz...

Thank you Sir for the kind offer.

We're doing well, better than most. We are looking after others here.

I'm just glad to still be as young and not to dependant on others to survive... comes with the German Blood and Red Hair. Not bad for being near 50. LOL

Hmmm a care package?

I miss the cold Winter Days in Germany of shopping with the Wifey and sipping on warm Gluvine.

Or a good Miasels Hefe Weissen.

LOL

May You and Yours be safe and warm.

Merry Christmas.

Sunday power died twice... 1st time for 3 hours and then for 6 hours.

Monday power died again for the last time until Wednesday.

Here MT I know yer really bored but you can call the Public Service of Oklahoma at 1-888-832-6279 and verify any power outages here in Tulsa, OK and the immediate surrounding areas.

Are you feeling guilty about something Mac? I was just curious. I thought maybe you had a satellite con or a generator.

You're the one who said power was out for 3 days, and that phone service was out.

It's not like you haven't exaggerated in the past you know.

-OR-

Respectfully let it go?

Here's what I can add, seeing this thread is turning into a Mac hunt....

I work for Cox Communications in Phoenix. I work in the network operations field with plant design and maintenance. The last two weeks, I have had a 4-man crew in the greater Tulsa area working to re-lash our service lines (Coaxial feeder and Fiber) to new strands connected to new pole. Reason being, about 1000-1200 power poles down in the greater Tulsa area. My guys have been working with Cox crews from New Orleans, Dallas, Omaha, Las Vegas, San Diego and Virginia. They are scheduled to come home tomorrow.

Owasso and Skiatook areas were hit the hardest. There is no Cox services in Skiatook but some of our guys have helped the power Co-ops up there with stringing lines. Depending on where Mac lives in the Owasso area, he stands a very likely chance that his utilities are underground. Most of the Owasso area is newer and the utilities are underground. In these areas, our service came and went with the power. Seeing our plant is powered in order to run our in-line amplifiers, BTD/BTE's and line extenders; we are at the mercy of the power grid. The Owasso area should be powered by the Oologah Power Generating Plant in which there were transmission lines affected here and there from the plant, south, through Collinsville and rural Owasso areas. Those lines also fed much of greater Tulsa. The lines weren't down, per-say, but rather spotty due to the grids being up and down in Tulsa. Mac's area should have been like a blinking light for many days. I looked at some of the network stats on our Polaris tool today and many of the nodes in Owasso were hit and miss for many days. Today shows much of the Tulsa area back up with some spotty node outages in North Tulsa and Mid-town Tulsa.

Mac, glad you guys made it through okay. I'll see ya in January bud.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

You got it. We'll hammer away at a few brews.

We now have about 4 - 5 inches of snow today. Hopefully we'll have a White Christmas this Year.

Be safe on the road heading here Bud.
