Looks great =0)

*edit*
TxDad won't post on here, but I will add that he does so much of the cooking in our home.  Mostly because he's better at it than I am, and the family enjoys good food (which they have to wait for HIS meals to get).

SD67 - beautiful dish... only thing I'd change is to BBQ salmon outdoors on high heat drizzled with olive oil for a bit 'o' the old char - and that is an individual taste.   Your seasoning is very very nice.

darker plate would pop those colors out.  the presentation is great, but it doesnt have any contrast...so the food gets lost in the presentation.

i know, i know...sorry.

I make a mean spinach omelet but that's about it.

Did someone mention tacos?  I love tacos.  Especially with my favorite hot sauce that I got in the Mexican Riviera, "Secretos Mayas".  Mmmmmm good!

I'm still practicing my grill abilities.

My pork chops are actually quite decent now.

I cook at least once a day, 5 days a week. I've completely done away with charcoal & grills. All my meat is done sous-vide, and comes out perfect every time. Steak, chicken, fish, pork, good stuff. That salmon steak looks damn good, but imho the portions are too big. Small portions, multiple courses is where it's at :)

I am the only one in the family that cooks since meine Oma passed away last January.  I guess that out of my mom, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc, I was the only one who paid attention.  Lucky me, I am the keeper of the recipes now.  I can make a mean Sauerbroten, Roladen, Kartoffelknodles, Speatzle just to name a few.  Oh yeah, I can cook some american meals, also.
