There's a really good austrian restaurant up here at Penn State called Herwigs.  If you're ever swinging through the center of the state you should stop by.  They only take cash though.

Nah...if he's in Philly he's gotta try the Austrian Village on Huntingdon Pike (Oxford Av) in Rockledge just outside of the city.
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Ah yes, guys grilling.  Hmmm.  In our townhouse neighborhood years ago, on Sunday afternoon there would be a line of 10 of so people outside grilling away -- 9 guys and my wife.

I don't cook much.  Never have.  Lazy.  But I can survive nicely heating up various packaged stuff.  And fortunately my wife loves to cook and is a good cook.

I wasn't saying it was the best.  I was only suggesting it if he's in this area.

Get yourself a Reynolds Handi-Vac. We have then here for $10 in grocery stores, same isle with the zip-lock bags. I've been using one for a few months now, and done a lot of water bath cooking. Works fantastic.

I have been an Executive Chef for the last twenty yrs. Do it for a living.
Maybe do it once a week at home on day off. Wife does the Mexican cooking I do the rest. Their is a lot to be said about coming home from a long day in the kitchen and sit down and have a bowl of cereal at about 9:30 pm LOL! I like comfort foods. They pay me to make flash foo foo crap. Doesn't necessarily mean I want to  eat it at home.:D
