It was fun while it lasted <S>

Had some good times in the orange arena against the rooks today until my connection crapped out again:furious
WTG to those rooks at 161 who got my tiger. I tried to make it in before the VH came back, but you beat me to it.
I seriously need to get something done here, but Telstra (who owns the lines) say they don't see an issue since voice communication is not affected. Then again, it could be an issue coming from the udp shaping going on across the pond, who knows. I'm getting weary of it all .

I've had my connection dump repeatedly on Friday evening, kept switching to TCP after UDP died.  By the 4th time, I gave up and played Joint Operations online for a few hours.  Had no lag/connection issues there

What is your game ID in JO?   I've played since it started under Karaya and was in AOM until recently.

LePaul   :)

Get the International Conflict (IC) mod (its tucked away someplace on internationalconflict.com)

I'm usually in the Co-Op games.  I was doing the Deathmatch games for a bit but got weary of the usual spawn camping stuff....so I retaliated being "that guy" who claymores spawn points   :lol   Fight fire with fire!

Its one of the few games I've had for 3 years and still play a few times a month.  Somedays you feel like a sniper (ooh, the M-82 is my favorite) and other times, being an engineer with a mortar rocks too.

If you cant find the IC mod, just Google it.  A few zillion sites have it.  I have lots of good co-op maps if you guys are into hosting you own fights.  Me and two friends locally used to have our own games.  Lately, with his airline schedule, we squeeze in our own game once a month.

PM me if you have questions.

Telstra sucks.  The worst part about it is they own all of the telco physical lines and the other companies have to lease from them for phone/internet service.

About all you can do is go with cable if it is avail for you there.

I just bought a new Dlink adsl2+ DSL-G604T to replace the weary old Belkin that served us so well. I didn't handle the last move so well :lol
I only went with the Dlink because it was the only one that was available in the area. Evidentially there had been a run on DSL modems in the week before I went shopping. :(

I'm downloading it now.   We're gonna have to get together.    AOM has pulled out of JO and gone to COD4.   I still like JO and am looking for a new clan to join.

I used to CTD every time I got switched to TCP.  Lately, when I lose UDP and switch to TCP (once per week or so... much higher than in the past) the game usually continues to operate flawlessly.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
