No. A Runway defeats the purpose of a V-base.

And do you really think Panzer divisions in WWII had bombs, plane fuel, and rockets handy?

re arm pads at vbases would come in handy, historical or not. They wouldnt need to add a runway its easy enough to take off from a vbase.

most american armored divisions had a the ability to call in air strikes and close air suport and most wars they had small air strips near the front lines and i want them only so you can rearm planes and land them for emergencies it is mainly for tank town you cannot take planes off:)

With a little editing...
Yes but my point is, in the war I doubt planes could land in the middle of nowhere, have these tank guys strap bombs/rockets THE CORRECT WAY onto the plane. The same with V-bases, do you think they had bombs and rockets laying around? (Other than craters :D )

No rearm for aircraft at V bases.  I don't have any problem with GVs
using them though.

But they were airfields .

And, historically, if, say a 4th FG P-51 had to land at a forward airfield, more often than not, the pilot either left his plane there and hitched a ride home in a transport going his way or it took hours if not days to get him back on his way to his home airfield .

hmmm lets see a re-arm pad, to load more bombs, to kill GV's.

I can think of quite a few hardcore GV heavyweights who would whine all day long if someone could keep loading bombs.

Do you really think this would not add to the frustrations of the disgruntled GV driver?

If you want air support fly it in from a different field or maybe wish for a spotter plane that doesnt have any ammo or bombs.  That could be launched from a V base hangar.

IMO all re arm pads are gamey anachronisms left over from AH1 beta.

Enabling fuel and amunition supplies for stationary ac would be sufficient, indeed this would enable many other game play (rather than gamey)oppurtunities.
