Oh yeah!  Absolutely mesmerizing.  Don't see how they do it, and don't see how they could be improved on.  :aok

My wife and I went to see them (TSO) in concert last weekend.  An almost 3 hour concert of fantastic sound quality and visual presentation.  I would not hesitate to see them again.
To understand true love, lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for an hour and then see which one is glad to see you when you come back

As soon as the first house light show made it to youtube (The original Wizards in Winter that became a commercial for Miller Lite) everyone has been doing one. I've thought about doing one, but I don't think I would stick with it long enough to finish it enough to make it look good. Curse you A.D.D.!

The original Wizards in Winter is still the best out of all these other ones. I love seeing TSO in concert. This will be the third year in a row I go see them live! Can't wait!

Not sure what part of the state your from TexasMom, but the second one you have listed is in Frisco.  I know it says right there on the video, but I also heard about it on the radio....in Houston.

Thanks T.M.

I can't believe I've never seen these. Just goes to show. I wonder, is there any audio at the site? It sounded dubbed but I guess there would have to be something playing for it to make sense.

They set it up so that it is broadcast on a local AM frequency so you drive to the house and turn on your radio. I think the first Wizard in Winter house drove the neighbors nuts using audio till they changed to radio.

I can just see rollin up on a house in the middle of a "set" without knowing the deal. Without the sound it looks like a cat just bit into the power cord. But I can imagine the neighbors hate it.
Back home one of the local conspicuous consumers does a major event with the big animatronics and such. A few more in the area have followed suit to the point where police provide traffic control.

Thanks ~ to tell you the truth, I never even checked to see the locations. We go to Houston regularly. Will be worth checking out :)

Call it kismet.

Last night we caught a movie on HBO called "Deck the Halls" with DeVito and Broderick.

Kinda sappy at times (it's a Christmas Film), but close to par with "Christmas Vacation". Anyhow, the central theme is about over decorated homes.
Funny film.
