Nothing stops you from posting a mission at any time.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

There used to be a certain time frame during which you couldn't put a mission up. That coincided, IIRC, with night time. We obviously no longer have full blown night, but I think the limitation regarding time might still be in effect.

I think what you're referring to might have to do with th fact that we jump like 10 or 12 hours. Posting a mission "overnight" will make things act oddly.

This has to do with the game clock, and the jump ahead from Evening aka end of day to Morning aka start of day.

If Evening (end of day) is set for 6pm then you clearly can't have a mission lift at 6:01 pm, the clock will never see 6:01 pm because it jumps ahead to whatever Morning was set to. Set Evening to 23:59 and Morning to 00:00 and so long as your mission doesn't bridge end of day/start of day you're Golden. Couldn't resist. ;)
Easy in-game again.

I am one who would welcome the real nightime that we used to have in AH1.  I don't understand why missions couldn't be run in darkness as the RAF ran nightime buff missions throughout the war.

This is what I was referring to...when it is "Dusk" since people are choosy with words you can't post missions...and if you do have one it gets deleted.  Thanks for the explanation!

It gets dark? in AH2? When? I thought the sun sets then rises with about 10 seconds of twilight...

If only it WOULD get dark. There was a snapshot a couple of months ago with real darkness... Alot of fun, wish there was more night in the MAs. Just an hour would make for some interesting action. Would be a nice break from the sun washing out my windscreen when flying east or west (depending on the time of day). If it is always daylight why not have it be always noon? If realism is the goal have the sun rise and set somewhere besides DUE East or West (the prepetual solistice is troubling on some minor level 'cause the sun rises and sets due East/West on exactly TWO days per year)

Am I nitpicking... probably. So sue me! :lol
