I'd like to be able to map trim of an axis (rudder, aileron, elevator, to name a few) to a banded slider instead of full-on axis.
When you map any head movement to the axis, it locks it to that axis. All your saved head-positions are gone when you use your hat keys. However, I'd like to band the "head move up/down" so that there's a gap, and if I push it forward, it acts as if I'm just hitting the key to move my head up, or if I pull it back the opposite.
Just add another option in the axis list for "Rudder trim (banded)" or "head movement (banded)" or have a checkbox in the "advanced" tab for that axis.
I've been trying out axis mapping on my throttle quadrant, and I like some of the options but it really messes up your other views and if you use it for trim requires constant fiddling.
