not many can do anything about these events, if they do transpire.

my guess, most will use the info to party like it is 2999. use it to get lucky etc.

some will continue with their normal routines and trust in a higher power.

some that can try to do something, will try.

in the end it boils down to this. I don't remember where I seen it or heard it but it makes alot of sense.

I am worried.. I think we should stop all research on "man made global warming" and start right now to put an end to alien made global destruction.

on the other hand.. the last comet didn't bother me all that much.

I don't think HGpappy.BG has been around the O'Club much....

It takes a whole lot to get this bunch stirred up.  Usually it's guns, boobs, or global climate change.  Other than that, it's about impossible for them to be serious about anything....

But Lazs, "man made global warming" may have in fact caused this asteroid to be on the collision course it's on.  

I'm not sure how, but I'm sure we'll see a link soon. :noid

Since it is apparently aimed right at St. Paul's Cathedral ( looking at the illustration ), it clearly must be coming from Hell.

And if not, then the British people sure must have done something to seriously piss off God big time.

At least it is not landing on top of the Vatican, or on Mecca.   If either of those were destroyed by such an event, a lot of folks would become upset.

It lands a continent away= lost UDP switching to TCP
[ your probably getting discoed [[going to expire]] but it will take awhile ]

It hits you= white screen and a error report.
[ game crashes[[ you die now]] and you find yourself up there or down below; and the gate keeper gets your 'error report' and chooses whether to let you in or not.]

This first link is a list of (PHA) Potentially Hazardous Asteroids. Close Approaches To The Earth

And this is a list of (PHA) Potentially Hazardous Asteroids found after the discovery of Apophis. Apophis is about #600 or so on the list.
