Just wanted some feedback from anybody who uses or ever used the trackIR and what they thought about it.  Also wondering what the majarity of players use for their vews, num keys, hat sticks, etc.

Redbelly,
Do a search here on the forum for "TIR4" and "TrackIR" and you'll find lots of discussion about peoples' experience as this has been hashed over quite a bit.

Two things come to mind for me.
1.  Spend some time developing your TIR profile.  Search for the one Mace made as it is really good.  I use a slightly modified version of his profile.  I recommend getting his profile and then adjust it to taste.  He turns off the head tilt axis which I initially thought was a bad idea until I tried it.  I quickly agreed that it is better without the head tilt.

2. Stop using HAT views (or keyboard, etc.) and go "cold turkey" once you go to TIR.  Force yourself to learn  it.  You become accustomed to it pretty quick but it takes (IMHO) several months for it to really become second nature.

Good luck!
