Masherbrum--The Flying Pigs?

Were you a member of the Flying pigs?

Just curious.

My next door neighbor (and good friend) just bought a restaurant called "The Flying Pig" in Everett, WA. We went up there for his Grand Re-Opening earlier this month. Photos here:

I know there was a "Karaya" that stopped AH1 around Tour 20.   I started in Tour 27 under "Karaya2".    I then dropped the "2" a couple years ago, because of an issue that was out of my control at the time.  :)

But to answer your question, no.   But hey, nice pics and that looks like a good place to eat!

Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up. I happened upon the Plying Figs (heh) website today and thought that you might have been "that" Karaya". :)

The Flying Pigs!  Man, fun to fight against.  They had some great pilots and shooting a Flying Pig down made you feel like you really accomplished something!

In the old days!  :)

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

The Flying Pigs got started during the Confirmed Kill beta days.  Smut and Test formed the squad. They let me in (and prolly regretted it ever since.)  Other names I can recall off the top of my head: Mili, Eagl, Vila, Worr, Ichi, Tiger Shark, Karaya, Roamer - http://www.flyingpigs.com has the whole roster.  Ahh, the glory days...

Merry Christmas,

Snak

I remember being beat up continously by you Snak, in CK. Ahhh, the days... and good to see you again. (I was Rip1 in CK)

Edit: Just looked at your roster, I remember being on AC's squad for awhile...don't remember what we were, but we disbanded and he joined the FP.

Oink, Oink, to War! :aok

We have a local cafe here I frequent called "Flying Piggies" as well. I'm in Ottawa now, but there seems to be quite a few restaurants with some variation of the name.

Ah, WB and AH, good times.

Ola Snak and Smut. And hi there Ripsnort, cheers.

Although most of us are not flying AH anymore, our email list is still alive, and many of us Pigs still keep in touch.

Just be sure not to upset Smut, lest he label you Sub-dweeb and hunt you mercilessly!

Go to speak to you Ripsnort! :) Yeah one of the pigs noticed the thread and pinged our email list, so a few of us stopped by. :)

Your friend's restaurant looks fantastic. Not only does it have an awesome name, but it's a brewery!  What more could a Pig ask for?
