Anyone working on this skin?

This is the website of other pictures:  http://www.modelaces.com/148_scale_model/spitfire_mk_vb.php#top

I think this skin would be a great addition to the 303 Squadron's Hurricane Mk I.  Hope somebody has the time to work on this.

Thanks,
Obie

Dammit.  I forgot to check the AH skin dept page.  This was done by piterko in 2005.  So I guess my next dumb question would be why don't we have this in the MA?

Looks promising Kazan. A couple of things you might want to look at though.

The squadron letters need to be made smaller. Looking at the photo they should be roughly half the height of the fuselage roundel. Also the Polish Airforce emblem on the nose should be a bit bigger.

Maybe you could tone down the rivets, particularly on the wings. The wings were flush rivetted on the Spitfire, but the fuselage had normal rivets.

BTW Obie, best bet to see what skins are already done is to look on the Netaces pages. There is an up to date list there with screenshots.

Good looking, you might want to check the colors, the grey should be more bleuish and the brown is to dark. Other then that it looks promising!

One thing, the fusalage codes for RAF birds were generally read from the left to the right no matter what side of the aircraft they were on.  So the starbord side should read "RF (roundal) D" from back to front.  Unless you have photo evidence otherwise.

Cheers.
