BSOD on launch
« on: December 23, 2007, 04:37:10 AM »
While playing yesterday, my screen froze. Now when I try to launch I get the BSOD. I reloaded the game and same results. Never had this issue before. Could use some help.

Rename the HTC folder (default location C:\Program Files\HTC(, then make sure you shut down any anti-virus programs or security type programs, and then re-install the game.

Here's one for you. I went to Hitechcreations website and I get the BSOD. I tried several other sites and no problems. I tested this several times, I only get the bsod on Hitech website. I turned off my antivirus and my firewall. Now I can't access that site on my gaming pc to get the download.

Got it solved Skuzzy, Thanks. I had compounded the problems by loading a newer video driver. Deleted the new driver and the AV. Then installed the old driver. Seemed to solve the problem.
