Aces High 2, and Wine
« on: December 25, 2007, 09:07:33 PM »
Wine, the Linux Aplication, that is.

Does anyone know if AH is up-to-date on the newest version of Wine?

I'm getting a new computer soon that actually meets the new requirements.  (okay, so they're not new, but my old computer met the reqs before they updated the main page, and it died... so yeah.)

Or should I just be a bit unlazy, and dual boot XP (I can, I've just fallen in love with Ubuntu in the past... 4 or so... days) on the other Hard Drive that's coming with the computer?

From previous posts in the Hardware and Software part of the forum most people, including me, that have gotten AH running in Linux have done so with Cedega instead of straight Wine. Myself and a couple of others did it using PCLinux. Don't know then what you might run into with Ubuntu.

*bashes head onto keyboard*  I knew I forgot something... should have searched...

Well, either way.  Thanks Irwink, I'll go the easy way and just put XP on the 2nd Hard Drive, that way'll probably give me the least trouble...
