JAB, that would be a severity 1, and fixed immediatley...

The FM of the B26 with a damaged wing is behaving correctly, its the graphical representation that is not, thus a lower severity IMO.

Yep the FM is actually TOO good in these cases, because if you analyze the physics involved, removing the outer sections of the wing should actually give you less drag in level flight in high speeds, and it does in AH.  What's missing from AH is the extra parasitic drag from all the jagged metal and holes.  And of course the graphical representation needs work.

Go search through the forums on how the AH damage model works and stop speculating

In this case, flight model and damage model goes hand in had due to the way they work together as far as the wings go.

Okay, I will instead.

Turn off tracers.  No tracers rules.

Oh Geez, was that me? I actually rode a B26 in that condition far enough back from a base to ditch it in friendly territory, so it coulda been. Handled remarkably well too. If I remember correctly, I shot down somebody that was tailing me while the buff was in that state.

No, SOB, its not me. The problem is that most of you have no clue on what is going on. My <SIGH> is not for me, but for the stupidity and ingenuity of most people here.
