If anyone else isnt doing this one I would liek to start on it.

Unit: Stab.III/JG 2
Serial: <+| (W.Nr.313)
This aircraft was the first one to fall into British hands intact. On the 23rd of June, 1942, Oberleutnant Armin Faber, Gruppenadjutant of III/JG2 (based in Morlaix, France) mistook the Bristol Channel for the English Channel and landed at an RAF Base in Pembrey, Wales.

You do realize Kweassa's already got a similar interpretation of that paint scheme in-game?

If you realize, okay then :D

If you didn't, I just wanted to point it out.

Is there an actual photo of the aircraft?

Just from what I've seen, I think neither is 100% accurate, but Kweassa's colors are closer to it. In the early 190A-3s and the 1942 time period, the 190s didn't have very dark mottling down the sides, as the (IMO erronous) profile shows.

Oh, as a follow-up:

Here's the typical 190A-4 style paint scheme:

However, here's a photo of the plane in question:

It doesn't seem to be an actual camo scheme, rather a single color slathered over everything.

I think there is something wrong with the photo. It almost looks as if all the colors (even on the nose) are washed out with this color. Either there is some sort of temporary wash on this plane, or maybe the photo has been damaged, or the Brits painted it over hastily the second they got their hands on it.

I don't know about the last idea, because they probably (??) would have painted over the national markings while they did this.

Yea I just found this. It looks to much like kweassa's. Im not going to do it then. The only persons skin Ill copy is that raven guys, because his colors are WAY off and should not even be in the game.

Have a question....since A-4,5 & 6's are all very similar cosmetically, will HiTech allow A-4 or 6 skins on the A-5 model?

If so, there are a couple of nice Profile pics in Aircraft of the Ace's #6 I'd love to see.  Profile 35: Oberfeldwebel Anton Dobele's "White 2" in Spring (snow patch) colors, and Profile 39: Oberleutnant Otto Kitel's "Yellow 5".

I know there was a similar skin to this second one before the remodels.  Would be nice to see it again.

Some of those Winter camo Russian-front pre-A5 skins were pretty interesting, like that last skin above.
