also, the way we backed up was by putting our manifold around 13, if you do that your plane backs up

lol that was in the TA.

Ive done it many times on a CV. It's not that bad as long as you give your self enough room on the right wing. Back up all the was and you can take back off no problem.

We did it in the MA too and took off and got a few kills =)

Oh, and why don't you take a look at EVERY CV EVER MADE...notice they were almost all gray?
