I've got a bunch of AVI files I want to watch on my TV every once in a while. The easiest ports to use on the TV would be S-Video and a regular 3-plug component cable. There's also Y/Pb/Pr/Pg and HDMI too, but those would mean a lot more cable switching.
However, the laptop only has a female VGA (not DVI) output. Is there a cable I can buy that would work here? Any recommendations?
EDIT: I just realized that there's no sound contained in a VGA signal. The only audio-out on the laptop is a headphone jack on the side. It'd be nice to route that sound to the TV...
