Partly overcast here so the suckers who spent cash on surface to somewereintheair missiles wont get much fun, but we are gathered none the less to celebrate the final day of 2007 over some of Francis finest exports and a box of cubans :D

Actually overcast skys is better for fireworks than clear night.

50 mins until the numpties let em rip for real. They have been "test fiering" *swish..... BOOM* sticks all day, but its about to climax :) *yawn*

Im wasted for the first time since what? August?. Me and my best friend (who later became my brotherINlaw have been granted permission to get back-to-fetal-state drunk and retarded (although they have set a limit at changing our diapers :lol and we are well on our way :rolleyes: :D

Yeah, after a brief outing I just might have to open a bottle of single malt Scotch...

After trying some shots in auto and PAS mode tonight I've come to the conclusion that I need a new camera - I was already thinking of that after the MAKS airshow in Moscow (Aug 2007), but after today's performance I'm sure of it. But as my brother already has a DSLR that I can borrow, I'd like to have a compact camera with decent zoom and with faster focusing and image processing than my current camera (3-4 years old Kodak with 10x optical zoom) has.
