crash into the ground and you are still alive and then the person diches and you dont get the kill it hapens when you are near the ground and you take out the virticle stabliser and the plane spins it also when you take out the tail

Its because they ditched in friendly territory. (inside a friendly Dar ring) If someone lands on the ground in their territory always finish them off.

There is no such thing as "neutral" airspace.

The determining factor is the distance to the closest base. If any own base is closer to you than any enemy one, you can ditch.
That's why it's possible to get a "captured" result even when inside own radar circle.
