I hadn't seen the originals, read the book, or even realised it was a remake of something.
I just saw it as a really bad zombie movie, and a waste of time for Will Smith, who is actually a pretty good actor (ignore Fresh Prince, go rent Ali).
If I had paid for it, I probably would've been mad. ******* 2.5 was more entertaining.
edit: Okay those *******'s are the name of a movie, that was an MTV show with johnny knoxville, bam margera, and a whole bunch of other people held in great contempt by many on this board, doing "stunts" involving shopping carts, skateboards, and general gay-ness. I'm sure y'all can figure it out.
