Lost Kills?

Has anyone had it happen where some kills they've landed have not been accounted for in their stats?

In my case, I should have 6 kills listed in fighter mode as of the time of this posting, but only 4 are listed.  Im just wondering if others have had kills dissappear?

Were they all air to air kills?  If you kill GV's while in fighter mode the kills don't count.

I seems I lost 6 kills in my A20 yesterday.

If you look on my stats it says that i haver 6 kills in my A20 but they are not listed under anything.

there was weird stuff yesterday after the tour reset, shot down a goon (wahaaay!) console says You shot down XXXX #1, then intercepted a 109 a few moments later and it says You shot down YYYY #1. same sortie so I land and get 1 kill :mad: havent seen that before.

i had a squadie last night complaining about landing like 3-4 kills and it not showing he had any kills at all.

Question - were you airborne in your A20 when the arena reset happened?

I think this one is a rare bug that's been around almost forever.  I've seen it before but not for a very long time.  I think it's related to the "You have shot down xxx #0" bug.

If you don't tower, die, land, bail, or in some way END your sortie before the map changes after a reset, that entire sortie is not recorded in the stats.

Had it happen before, had a Stuka set up in attack mode, ended up on my way back to base, got jumped by a flight of Spitties (3 of 'em, now I wish I filmed it...) used the tail gun to knock out 2 of em, and the 3rd tried to HO, but when I shot down the first one, it said "you shot down xxx #0" so I only landed 2 kills...

I see 6 kills that count towards score/rank and 5 that do not.

4 of the kills were in a Fighter sortie.  2 of the kills were in an Attack sortie.

I know that, just didnt know i was in bomber mode.
I never fly the A20 in bomber mode.

Is it possible that it resets itself when a map is reset?

I understand now that i must have flewn it in bomber mode but i didnt put it in that mode myself.

The game remembers the last sortie type for the plane.  Just hop into an A20 and see what the sortie type is set to.  

The setting for the sortie is stored on a per arena basis.
