I was thinking the other night about how much I love the f-86 sabre and the mig-17s and other fighters of the Korean war era. I think it would be very neat if in the future Hitech added almost like an expansion to AH that had a Korean war plane set. Early jet combat with guns has always interested me.

There could be a different Korean War arena and the plane sets would definitely not intermingle.

we have been waiting for CT since i believe 2002 at least before i was around. How long would you think it would take to add all the aircraft?

i didnt know that 2 more week thing has been around that long and if they made it that everyone would play in korea and it woudl take 2 years to add all 3 main aircraft that were used in the conflict1 1/2 years for the planes then 1/2 year for the radar rangeing gunsight

I did play in the Korea Arena in AW on Gamestorm (yea, I know dating myself)

Frankly, there wasn't that much difference except everthing happened faster and there wasn't that much difference in the appeance of an enemy plane. I knew it was a Mig or F86....

At least now we have to wonder, is it a Spit, Wolf, Pony or LA....

Now, a WWI arena with the multitudes of airframes might be more interesting, but that would be hijacking your thread.

Ht has expressed an interest in adding both WWI and Korean arenas, but I too would rather we get CT up and running first

So whats stopping there being a Korea based snapshot or week in the AvA. D Mustangs loaded for ground attack. F4U4 loaded up the same. Tempest could probably stand in for the Sea Fury.

T34s and up gunned Shermans.

LA7s and Yak 9s and Il2s for the North Koreans

Might be an interesting little fight.

After 8 years now (it's 2008) they have barely scratched the surface of WW2, let alone any OTHER conflict.

A resounding "NO" from me. I'd not want to see their efforts split from the WW2 planeset.

Stagnation lies that way.

Strike fighters project 1, nuff said.

Not to mention they have just about every plane ever made flyable, for free.
WW1 WWII korea vietnam modern day, everything.
planes aceshigh will never see, even if they are WWII, ever....ever.

Let just say last night i did a mission with a common wealth boomerang, pure greatness, aces high will never see that plane in a million years "okay okay, more like 400+ years at the rate planes are made and added here."
