Lets see........

Looks like you are installing some ground controlled center break switches on a double dead end two pole structure. (got tired of having to come out, in the cold, climb the pole, and lift high sides when switching eh?) :)

Looks to be a Delta system, I am guessing that is 34.5 or 14.4KV? Hmm, maybe 29.9KV. (we do most all Wye systems in the States) I see you got your grounds hung, (good man :aok) But only on one side, must be HOT on the other.

What is your pole partner using to climb with? I use a set of Bashlin twisted shanks, Brooks belt.

Hi Sled !

It is 20 kV line and other grounds are about 200 meters away, because my colleagues were chanced whole pole and center break switch there. 20 kV lines are most common here in Finland, 45 kV:s are used to somewhat. Of course there are bigger lines also 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV. I work only 0,4 kV and 20 kV.

I presume that my partners poleshoes are somekind of finnish-made "old timers":D All my colleagues use them but i dont like them, too heavy and clumsy.

I see u are getting much much higher than me while working:aok

This was taken probably around late 2001 at Fort Knox.

This was 2005. I'm with a bunch of Bradley guys from 2nd ID, third from the left back row.

Scot, you might want to requisition some longer sleeves.

SkyTiger, do they still teach you poor scouts bastages that you only have a 17 second life expectancy on the battlefield?  ;)
