Well, certainly not older than me..looks you're in the MP's(we used to call em "Ramp Rats")...nothing personal bud. It also looks like your rank was, at that time, E-3?  Been there...done that, etc, etc ...USAF `59-63. (not MP's)

At the time we were SPs. At your time they were APs. Probably was E-3, I cant remember. That picture was actually taken a day or two after the 4 Nov '79 hostage taking, "I was at the closest base to Iran". We were parked at the end of a runways watching all the Hell flying in. I had two weeks left in my tour there and my squadron had deployment orders should we get the go.

But Carter never sent us. And thats when this war started.

Correct..."they" were in the "AP" Sqd....strange what 45 years does to the memory...altho, still can't forget the time I observed Supply clerks moving large boxes marked "For Nuclear Casualties Only "(Cuban missile crisis) into the B.O.Q.  :O Ahh, but I digress..time to return to present  R.L.

Dentin you live in VT? Where?

Too many weird people on the "net", (nothing personal Max) that fact prohibits me from pinpointing my exact location...again, nothing personal.

I have no doubt Max is "somewhat normal"...matter-of-fact, T think he used to frequently visit my 8 plyr H2H arena..`course my memory could be faulty :)  So, you're from Maine, eh.  I was stationed at Loring AFB loong time ago...nice country (Maine) but certainly colder `n` hell in the winter. :)

Same here only my jersey's red (don't care much for the black ones).   Got season tickets.  :rock

You must live in the Raleigh area huh?  I've been here since moving from Tennessee in 1972 (Air Force, Goldsboro).  I've now lived in NC longer than TN.  That feels a bit strange.  TN still's home though.

Good picture.
