Is there anyway to tie the "end sortie" command to a CH PRO button?
It seems there's no software available from CH to make a macro to do the .ef command and I found nothing in the controller setups in the game.
It would be nice to be able to exit the plane in a timely fashion on an airfield that's under attack  :)

Is there a built-in option for the AH mapping, by any chance?

Can't you chain things together as a macro? Just chain "/" "." "e" "f" "return"

I don't know how the CH stuff works, but I thought some folks said something about macros once upon a time.

Using keyboard:
==============

/.ef return

works pretty darn fast for me and I type with just one finger.

Come into airfield runway and belly flop slide / crash saves time if under attack threat and if on concrete "lands successful" under 100 mph.

Better plan is land a base back, nice and quiet.

If you have any of the USB CH sticks like the Combat Stick or the Fighterstick or the USB Pro Throttle, you can use CH's Control Manager to program a button on your stick to exit out of your plane after a flight.

I've programmed one of my hatswitches on my Pro Throttle to turn on/off my engine(s), lower/raise landing gear, and to end flight.  Just program one of your buttons with /.ef and "Enter" and you should be good to go.

Where do you get the "control manager" for CH, I couldn't find any software at their site (?)

Once you get the CH Control Manager installed, click on the "CM Editor" button.

You will now get another tabbed window.

One tab will be for your CMC file ... this is where you can create reserved and meaningful words for "commands" that you want to assign to buttons.

My CMC file for Aces High covers most of the generic "commands" in Aces High, along with a few custom commands.

One "command" that I have is not exactly what you want to do, but by looking at what I did ... you should have no problem creating your own.

Mine is ...

Salvo_10 / . s a l v o SPC 1 0 ENT ... note: there is a blank space between each character, with the exception of the SPC and ENT.

SPC is a reserved word for "space" and ENT is a reserved word for "enter"

So if I assign to a button ... Salvo_10 ...when the button is pressed, it will execute ... / . s a l v o SPC 1 0 ENT

So you would probably want to create ...

End_Flight / . e f ENT

Here is the contents of my CMC file ... you can copy/paste it if you want and then make the appropriate changes/additions.
