Not original, but still asking... PBY, JU-52, P-40N-5, P-39N
« on: January 04, 2008, 03:43:00 PM »
The thought behind these aircraft in the wishlist is not to pretend that they are a NEW original thought for the game. If I am not mistaken, they have all been previously mentioned. My question has even more impact. Can we get them at the same time? I know that is a tall development order. I know the developers at HITECH are sitting back in their chairs saying, "are you crazy" and "don't you think were busy enough". I do understand development and implementation priciples. But, wouldn't it be great to look at each other choose a date and say that, "We did it", when there all delivered. My hats off to you already. So what to you say HITECH?

All of these aircraft have carved a significant place into military aviation history.

PBY Catalina - Flew with 6 or better countries and would be the first aircraft in the game that could be launched from a sea port in the transport, bomber, and attack roll.

JU-52 - Armed transport aircraft.

P-40N-5 - People want to fly in this airframe. The "E" model just lacks performance.

P-39N - Give the Soviets another aircraft.

I realize there maybe some not so positive comments associated with these aircraft. Especially in light of the recent elections, but I welcome everyones comments, "Good" or "Bad".

Cheers:aok

P-40E? Lack performance? I've out turned la-7's and spit 16's in that thing! It's a fun plane! I would like to see the N model though.

In my own opinion i believe the B25's becoming a hanger queen. It is still used by some people but not like a fighter would be used for. It would of been nice the pole's were so close i believe only 0.2% off that both planes should of been put in.

Since we are re-hashing old lists, I believe this one should come first.
