Roll call for GMT TOD
« on: February 14, 2000, 06:52:00 PM »
For the poor s*ds like me who would die to participate in a TOD, but live in European Timezones...(Or the ones in NON GMT timezones who wish to be awake early...)

Trying to figure out who would be interested in a TOD mission list (Starting in about a week, as I guess that this is quite tough to organise...)

Please write to saintaw@wardogs.org (guess who that is...)

Thank you

Saintaw: I think it's great that you want to start a TOD more Euro-friendly.  I've always regreted that I could only manage to hold every other TOD mission at a time even remotely available timezone wise to those in Europe.  If you're interested, I'd be happy to send you the mission log and database forms I've been using to administer this first TOD.  Feel free to palagerize my original TOD rules.  I'd be interested in any now ideas you come up with to improve the original concept.  I sure hope HtC gets a special events arena up and running soon.

I'm curious what HtC thinks of these TOD scenarios we've been holding.  I haven't seen any responses from Pyro, HiTech, or any other HtC staff to the many after action reports or mission announcements I've posted.  I was on last night when HiTech came on (or was it Pyro?), and asked him if he was familiar with the TOD series of 1-life-to-live missions. He said he was aware of TOD but didn't know the details (paraphrasing here; I was in the middle of combat, so I wasn't paying close attention).  How about it, HtC?  Any chance we could get the company to officially recognize and santion this (and give us a special events arena  )?

Anyway, e-mail me if you want a dialogue on how I've run the one based in the USA timezones.  "If you run it, they will come..."

LOL, Bee, Np on the Picture, it's copyrighted for all the "Dweebs from Belgium"

Rojo, I was realy dreaming that you would accept me taking your rules as a basis, thank you ! And There is a good surprise for you when you will logon next time...Does "Special events arena" mean something to you ?

PLease send me the files, and today, I will have a closer look to your website...

PS : TEAMSTREAM came up with another version, it's a Roger wilco like, but supports multi channel simultaneously and has a much clearer voice...

A webpage is up with the GMT TOD data, I know that there is not much up there yet, but I will put in more data as it comes... http://www.wardogs.org/ah/

BTW, could be nice if we could use Teamstream for that one, Roger Wilco like comms, but has multy channels...

Check it out at : http://www.teamsound.com/

Please send applications by Email as it will be easier for me to track them...thank you
