Is there a timed dealy fuse for bombs in AH?

Do we have a delayed fuse setting anywhere?

If not, why not?

Would be great to have the ability to NOE a base and drop a delayed detonation bomb.

no there is not.

all bombs in ah must travel 1000 feet before they arm, then detonate on impact with any object.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Germans used time delayed fused bombs against Bomber formations not sure how much damage they actually caused, i doubt they were really successful due to fighter escorts later in war a 250kg bomb would be more hamper then anything else.

Just because you drop succesfully from 600 feet of altitude that doesn't mean they arm in less than 1000ft traveled distance
Bombs do not fall straight downward.

The faster your plane is at the moment of drop, the lower the altitude you can drop at with bomb still traveling far enough to arm.

Also unless I am crazy, aren't the numbers on the icon in yards?  If so maybe thats why you think that you are dropping at 600 feet when in reality you are dropping at over 1000ft?

If you release by the time your icon range hits -333 your bomb will arm before it hits.

ok i understand the nice layout you gave and all. thats all cool and everything if i am dive bombing at a angle. but for the most part i come straight down on the gv and let my bomb go at 600. so with out much of an angle at all how does that bomb still take 1000 feet to hit the target.

there has to be some way to test this. if i show a film coming straight down on a gv and bomb it at 600 feet that should show how far the bomb traveled before hitting target right???? if so i will film it so i can see this and know how far it really travels :aok
