Bombs do not fall straight downward.

The faster your plane is at the moment of drop, the lower the altitude you can drop at with bomb still traveling far enough to arm.
ok i understand the nice layout you gave and all. thats all cool and everything if i am dive bombing at a angle. but for the most part i come straight down on the gv and let my bomb go at 600. so with out much of an angle at all how does that bomb still take 1000 feet to hit the target.
there has to be some way to test this. if i show a film coming straight down on a gv and bomb it at 600 feet that should show how far the bomb traveled before hitting target right???? if so i will film it so i can see this and know how far it really travels
