I haven't been able to run SH3 since I went to xp64. Anyone know if SH4 will run on xp64?

I did, I have a MacBook Pro with 2.0Ghz Intel and a 24" iMac with the same processors. Both have 2GB RAM. PM has a 130GB HDD, iMac has 180GB internal, 1TB external. Wife has the G4 iBook. I just have a different taste, I guess.

:)

Oh .. my ... God! And you did that voluntarily???

I had to take a macbook pro for work and I still grind my teeth every time I have to use it. Nothing works like in windows (or at all in leopard) and even the keyboard is fxed up. Not possible to find insert, del etc. typical keys on it.

I have never been able to play SHIII - it will never get past the initial UBISOFT startup screen.  Have tried running it on two different systems, fully patched, same result.  Called UBI and the friendly Indians on the other end ran me around in circles and kept asking to close the ticket.

Been on the shelf for over a year or more...  May try re-installing years from now when I'm two or three new computers away from today's technology.

And that way is???????

BTW I thought later releases of SH3 already had the starforce removed, is that true? I have ignored the game solely because of the starforce garbage.

Yes, Starforce was removed with the first update. Starforce is generally not used on the European and American markets anymore. Still used in Russia though.

Yep and will gladly do it again when these are out of date.

Not sure why your sucks. Both MacBook pro and iMac are running Tiger still. I'm not of the "get the newest release of operating system on the day it comes out" crowd. I'll wait till the bugs are out. Both my MACs run Window$ better than my peecee too. Amazing.

Now, I just need COD4 to be on MAC and all will be right in the world.

I run windows in parallels only. The thing that bothers me in mac is that it has way too much eye candy, simple functions need 3 key combinations to work, there's no del button (big issue for me).. And simply because when I run to a problem my intuition tells me the answer usually immediately.. except I'm running a mac and I'm stuck dead. Then I have to waste time googling the answer. It's like relearning to use a computer and I hate it.
