Request for noseart help
« on: January 08, 2008, 09:29:29 PM »
I'm no whiz on art programs to say the least. I have found an original WW2 Squadron noseart I'd like to use, so it 'should' be easy... just resizing and making the white background invisible, right?  I have no ability to do it.

If anyone is interested in helping... the noseart is found at top of page here:

http://www.web-birds.com/8th/339/504/504.html

I took a look at it with irfanview program. It is not exactly squared, so some adjustment may be required to make it look right at 64x64.

I would like to see the 504TH Fighter Squadron honored by seeing its noseart flying again. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help with this and please reply to avoid duplicate effort.

Thanks,

R=76

Ok, well the noseart is the wrong size. I have no technical knowledge of how to do art stuff at all. Hoping one of you nose art specialist will jump in and help us.
This is a brand new training squadron and have just started recruiting.
Any help much appreciated!

I'm definately not a noseart guru but try this one:

Open it to edit, then resave as a .bmp, for some reason I cant upload my .bmp version.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
