Where were you born? I was born in French Morrocco. That is a country on the continent of AFRICA. I am white. I am the only "African American" in this thread.

So how do you want to handle this? My white fathers people on Sand Mountain Alabama were brought from Wales as white chained slaves of the British Crown in the early 1700's. They worked alongside blacks in the feilds to gain their freedom. It is only since the 1970's that the last of my family stopped renting land or residences and started owning thier own. My father picked cotton with his share cropper kin until he was 16 and bought his first pair of shoes to walk of the mountain and join the Army Airforce in 1948. Seems the white man owes me some to.

Al Sharpton is a Balck rascist and a race monger who uses race to make millions on the backs of all races in the United States.

Yes I was born in africa and I am an African American. Now where were you born? well... I knew 2 african-americans in my life so far and both were white.

I call negros I know negro all the time.   I admit that I know very few and one was so offended that he won't talk to me anymore..   I do not feel the loss.

NAACP seems to think that "colored" is acceptable.   I do too.

I will not call them africanamericans it is not accurate and it is silly.    Black works but this seems very racist.

I have heard that the acceptable term today is "melinen superior" and that racists like acefire guy with the racist slave term "africanamerican" will be punished.

mostly tho.. I don't give a crap if they like it or not.

wouldn't calling someone a black person be pretty bad?     They most certainly are not "africanamericans" since not a one I have ever seen is from africa...  I can trace my grandfather to Scotland but they have to go back 10 generations to find "africa"  and the truth is.. they don't want to go back to africa any more than I want to go back to Scotland but...

I at least have been to Scotland..

I thought about replacing the word "heat" as well, but that might be going too far.  The point -- you are advocating changing behavior that is acceptable by any normal standards just because there are a couple of crazies out there that might turn it into something it isn't.
