Look down in spits

I have a wide screen monitor and am running hi res pack.  In normal front view, I can't see the ammo counter.  When I use the "look down" (page down) command to see the counters, the look down view stops just above the counters.  In other aircraft, that command goes all the way to the floor when held.  Is there some setting that I am missing, or this a concern in spits?

I set up a view like any other view using look forward/down combo plus fine tuning with the page up/down keys and the arrow keys and saving it with F10.

What other use is look forward/down?

As well as checking ammo, I use that view to zoom in on the guages to set max cruise or check temp. and oil pressure if I'm smoking again as usual.

Yep, I use it for all that too.  I think the only remedy is to move seat all the way back.  May have to map my slider for that one.  Thanks.
