Tonight's Snapshot: Operation Lamplight

Don't forget tonight's Snapshot event, "Operation Lamplight: Lancasters Over Berlin" in the SEA at 10:00 PM EST.  This is a night-time event, with no radar for the Lancasters and tower-only radar for the Luftwaffe.  Volunteer Ground Control Intercept Officers, or GCIOs, will direct the fighters through the night skies as the marauders attempt to hit various targets in and around Berlin.  White-knuckle action at it's best.  Be there!

Couple of errors to start with but when it got going it sure was white knuckle
I flew a 190-A5 with Swoop and I got an assist, a kill and a probable as "the probable" got me with that lethal Lanc rear gun.
Damn Lancaster is invisible with that camo until you're about 500 from them. Literally on top of them. If not for icons you'd never see the boogers. Course. Same for thier gunners seeing us.

 Nice work GCI's!
