To be more specific that is O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

O Fortuna opens and closes the cantata.
"Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity."
— George Patton

Yep, that aint mozart.

That one is called "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff (part of his "Carmina Burana")

    O Fortuna (Chorus)

    O Fortuna
    velut luna
    statu variabilis,

    semper crescis
    aut decrescis;
    vita detestabilis

    nunc obdurat
    et tunc curat
    ludo mentis aciem,

    egestatem,
    potestatem
    dissolvit ut glaciem.

    Sors immanis
    et inanis,
    rota tu volubilis,

    status malus,
    vana salus
    semper dissolubilis,

    obumbrata
    et velata
    michi quoque niteris;

    nunc per ludum
    dorsum nudum
    fero tui sceleris.

    Sors salutis
    et virtutis
    michi nunc contraria,

    est affectus
    et defectus
    semper in angaria.

    Hac in hora
    sine mora
    corde pulsum tangite;

    quod per sortem
    sternit fortem,
    mecum omnes plangite!

--------------------------------------------------

    English Translation

    O Fortune,
    like the moon
    you are constantly changing,

    ever waxing
    and waning;
    hateful life

    first oppresses
    and then soothes
    as fancy takes it;

    poverty
    and power
    it melts them like ice.

    Fate - monstrous
    and empty,
    you whirling wheel,

    you are malevolent,
    well-being is vain
    and always fades to nothing,

    shadowed
    and veiled
    you plague me too;

    now through the game
    I bring my bare back
    to your villainy.

    Fate is against me
    in health
    and virtue,

    driven on
    and weighted down,
    always enslaved.

    So at this hour
    without delay
    pluck the vibrating strings;

    since Fate
    strikes down the strong man,
    everyone weep with me!

------------------------------------------

Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell is another work that is usually thought to be 'mozart' since it also sounds like his compositions.

Always reminded me more of Wagner or Beethoven than Mozart.

The lyrics could have come right out of a Yes song.

I read about a P-47 pilot who had just taken off, and he crossed his eyes.  They got stuck that way and he started panicking.  Someone on the radio told him to close one eye.  He did, and he was able to land safely.

My daughters band plays this at football games.  They refer to it as the "angry song" hehe.  Anyway, nice video.

Great song, but may be one of the most over-used operatic compositions EVAR. Marine Corps recruiting commercials... movie trailers... Excalibur...
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I'm also looking for another song that could be a good fighter intro.
It's some sorta epic gregorian chant maybe newage twist song, gah I only know it faintly in the back of my head. I just know it's fairly popular.

I'd start w/ Deep Forest and go from there.

Not so much the original, (Carmina Burana was first recorded what, about 40 years before?) but probably the most prominent.
