On a side note, I finally received my Gold Astronaut pin for the mission to hide the membership list in low Earth orbit.  It was a proud day for me and my fellow SAPP members.

Yup, P-38s are so Uber they can survive re-entry and keep right on fighting.  :noid
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

And this is why, for you budding p38 pilots, it is so important to keep your hands away from props, more of them to worry about in a 38 vs. say a spit.  It's all fun and games until they day you can only count to 15 instead of 20....or worse.  With Acks' years of experience this is less of an issue, I just don't want any new guys losing any "counters" making such things as acks space flight just a dream.  Then again, it does seem to provide an answer for keeping our numbers safe.....:noid

Fixed.

Oh the Irony!

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Now I dont fly the 38 much, mainly because I end up very very dead very very quickly, but seeing as all you SAPP(ers) are here, what loadout do you lads take when furballing in it....

50% fuel ?
small or large ammo loadout.

And you do use it as a turn fighter right?

P.S. I am thinking alomg the lines of the L modle here

EDIT: and like skyrock said the 38 was one of the first WWII planes I knew by name

SAPP Night has always been held on Tuesday nights.... however we had issues with arenas maxing out.
Anyone ever wonder how Titanic Tuesday came about?

I, and many other SAPP's, like 50% with 1 or 2 DT's.  I prefer the J to the L but there are numerous threads that debae the relative merits of each.

Heavy gun loads usually, though i find that i rarely actually come close to running out.

I'll use it in any way that beats to other guy.  Though i suck so don't take my word for it...

SALP is Sodium Aluminum Phosphate.

Quote
The SODIUM ALUMINUM PHOSPHATE also has an excellent buffering action for flour mixes, enhancing the properties of the formula ingredients. When using SODIUM ALUMINUM PHOSPHATE, the product is crunchy and has fine texture.
This explains why all kills on MjTalon have that satisfying, crunchy sensation.
