*edit* in particular, I'm going to buy a jacket for a male, age 16.  I want it to be one that he actually wears without dying of embarassment. What jacket should I be looking for?

Don't care what he wears?  EMO boys often wear girls clothes(pants).....homosexuality is next.  If he's hardcore, you are even worse off.

:lol It is true that most "emo" guys are bisexual so he has a point.  I guess you should try to guide him towards ripped jeans (for males) and the leather jacket like previously mentioned.   If he picks up smoking....blame the government.

Don't worry about the mo/emu thing, an emu is a fat emo kid who broke the o so he has to go cry about it.

Joking aside... I say give him a budget and have him pick it out himself.

Don't care what he wears?

:rofl :rofl  he won't be wearing girl clothes, painting his nails, wearing any other sort of make-up :rofl

But if he wants to wear black, keep his hair long over his face, I'm A-OK with that.  The clothes he wears don't define his character... that all comes from within ~ and on that ground he's already proven to be very solid.

*edit* you know, I'm actually really surprised to have seen the responses in here. I didn't realize that emo was such a hotspot. :)

I've heard of emu ranchers (even around here)... always wondered what the point of keeping them was. I guess now I know.:)

There used to be one around here (Actually I dated their daughter for a few years)

The oil from emu's are expensive and used for medicinal purposes, meat is really good and can be sold for nice money.

Plus you can incubate eggs and sell the chicks for a pretty good dollar amount too :)
