Did You Survive "Blue Monday"???
« on: January 22, 2008, 01:38:44 AM »
According to a U.K researcher Doctor Cliff Arnall, today ( Monday, Jan 21 ) is the most depressing day out of the entire year.

He says that a combination of factors cause this, including being down after the holidays have gone by, bills from Christmas coming in, failure of New Year resolutions, and the fact that winter is at its worst, with cold and gloomy weather.

Did anyone feel really depressed today?   Did anyone want to commit suicide?   Supposedly this is a very popular day for suicides too.

Just another day in paradise. :)

It was certainly not any different to me. The only bad thing is that both the Mrs. and I have a nasty cold right now. Other than that it's just another nice day of getting paid to not work.

I was feeling pretty low so I called the suicide hot line.  Got connected to their Pakistan help desk.  Told the guy I was feeling suicidal. He gets all excited and asks if I know how to drive a truck.  Go figure.
