Nice soundtrack. Quite some distances your shooting at, but assuming closer then it looks on film.

Must say, I'm a Van Halen fan and have met the band (I did rock radio for 25 years)--hence the name "ROX" = ROCKS, but I chose the soundtrack for timing over anything else.
Against regular furballing mindset, I buff-hunt with the convergiance out to 650 with all guns out that far.
I'm usually buff-hunting in Fw190-D9 or Jug P47-40's (as seen in the film) and I concentrate the left drone first and work my way right. I open up at just under 1000, and let her rip.
While the buff hunter purists will say NEVER take the 6 O'clock shot on a buff, I find it to be one of the best shots (with film to prove it) IF and only IF you are coming in hotter than heck. 400-500 KIAS at the least.
I also LOVE to do the HI-down looking merge shot on buffs...but DO NOT HO them.
One secret is to NEVER take the 6 O'clock on a buff if you are less than 400 kias. It's suicide. If you are coming in hot, make your shot. If you are not, do your funky 3 and 9 O'clock shots, or grab alt and take your time.
Most buff drivers PRAY you are coming in low & slow.....easy kills for them.
I also RARELY take up a perked ride to buff-hunt...as I rarely get to land it.
Good Luck to all and thank you for watching!
