My memory is failing me in my old age JB73, so excuse this comment if I am wrong...

Congrats on the job sir, if memory serves me right then you lost you last one and I missed that you picked up on a new one. Looks like you hit bank.

Any chance they are looking for a Aviation Electrician in a few years time? :D

ya lost my job on some BS politics, since May 29 I have been working at a trucking company, around mid-September I have been head of IT for the whole company (small as it is).

the $$ isn't great for now, but that should change from what they have promised me... but more importantly I have a Career not a Job. add to that they have done some things, and told me straight out in the past few weeks that they want me around 20 years. right in the interview I made it clear I don't want to peddle around job to job, I am too old for that. I want stability, I have shown what I am willing to do, and can do, and they have made me very happy / comfortable.

Manager of Information Services it says on my business cards, but basically I am the head computer guru at my company. we run a Windows server 2003 environment, Exchange, and a legacy UNIX BBX based system, along with a few other oddities. XP on desktops, and thats about it. we are migrating all our business software to a new Windows based system, moving away from the BBX, and along with active directory implementation issues we have an ATT MPLS system between out 9 physical locations to coordinate.

The new software is running on a DB2 server here in MI, and I have to get our Milwaukee location up and running for "go-live" Mar 1st.

meh I looked and looked for "incriminating" stuff in the pic, didn't see the "body spray" cologne being mistaken for hair spray (Christmas gift and heck it makes me smell no so stinky)....brush, well, I don't like combs as they give static. I just hop out of the shower and brush it back like Gordon Gekko :D
