Pingtimes from Europe ?

Hi all,

i am living in germoney, using a 56k modem and normaly my pingtimes are 350-380ms on average. If i ping the AH server 5 times in a row(5*5) ,theres normaly one time that i get 20% packet loss.
1.Would be nice to now how quick other people ping the AH server from western europe + what hardware ure using?

Im at work right now, but I get a ping of 153 as an average to HTC.
I excpect a tad slower ping times from home, will check when I get home.

I live in Norway.

Is this the right IP to ping by the way ?

Normally have pings in the 150-180 area from Denmark using ISDN.

    Pakete: Gesendet = 20, Empfangen = 20, Verloren = 0 (0% Verlust),
Ca. Zeitangaben in Millisek.:
    Minimum = 240ms, Maximum =  315ms, Mittelwert =  261ms

Average is 300 on a 56K from Swindon, UK.

Depends of the days/hours/ISP I use...I  am starting to have quite a collection of these

180ms avg is a good ping for me, 200 to 220 avgs are far more commmon. Oh yeah I am in Finland FWIW.

thx for the quick response. I think its not my pingtime which is bad, but my 20% packet loss.
