i dont want to live in the "PAPERS PLEASE" world any more than any other, but until the real reason for the illegals to be here is fixed that is what we are faced with!
anyone care to guess how to stop the desire of these people to come to this place?
i have some of the answers but i want to see if there are others who really understand the true problem!
hints:minimun wage ,unemployment,health care,labor laws,goverment telling bussines how to conduct itself!

ok wipe that look off you face, im not talking about there rights, im talking about yours.

the ability to exist without having to work has caused a need for labor to fill our place,

minimum wage has created a need for cheap labor by those bussinesses that cant afford to pay the wage prescribed by law,

employers dont have to pay social security for illegals giving them cheap labor while paying a better wage, in most cases

labor laws that protect us dont apply to the illegals in most cases, hence cheap labor,

these laws designed to protect us have caused our downfall by allowing others to fill the jobs we refuse to do either because of the pay or conditions of the jobs, we all want it done we just dont want to do it for what its worth!

our bussines law is not free enterprise, if it was a free market would exist and most of these problems would'nt! yet the polititions will not change the current way of things as it might take away from there ability to rule, there ability to make us think there helping us!

our health care system is something we should be proud of, we help those in need in most cases even if you cant pay! why wouldnt others wish to come here for that,
there is no good cure for this problem as i like haveing the best health care around , so we may have to export this to other countries as fast as possible maybe instead of a multi billion dollar new i d card system we could spend that money teaching medicine to the illegals we have here now then send them home to make that place as good as this!

A small town in California tried that and the aclu and others forced the town to back down as a result California passed a law in 2008 that says:

"Cities and counties will not longer be allowed to require landlords to verify the citizenship of their tenants. This law was a direct result of an attempt by a city in Southern California to require landlord to screen the citizenship status of potential tenants."

i rent out two houses, i run a background check on all prospective renters and charge them for it (applied to first months rent if i rent to them).

i understand most if not all landlords do this, how much more trouble would it be to check to see if they are in the country legally?

Can illegals vote? If so, would they tend to vote for the party that wanted to provide them with benifits or with the party that wanted to enforce the law?
