Its always funny when the cv comes in close to a base, nobody can ever get in the shore battery to take command.

Example from last night Titanic map:
CV is well with-in range and turret angle, shore battery is manned with an unknown player who will not shoot.  CV proceeds to circle in same spot for over 1/2hr. in front of SB.  Amazingly who ever was in the shore battery was not answering. Simple name tag will work wonders.

I agree with you 100%.  I wish you would post this in the general discussion area as this section seems to get less attention.  Its a sad commentary on how low some players will go to feed their egos.  So many households now have multiple computers and the number of second accounts is becoming more apparent.  Maybe an email to HiTech with your idea will make them aware and at least they will have a heads up on a potential problem before it gets too out of hand.  Gaming the game is one thing but this is just cheating.  Thanks for the post

And you know for sure he wasn't shooting?  Perhaps it was a new guy who was simply not adept?

A squaddie once started ranting and raving about not being able to get into the shore battery, that the goofball in there wasn't even shooting, how unfair that was, etc. etc.  Went on for about a good five minutes.  It was quite comical . . . especially since I was the one in the shore battery, and had gotten about six hits on the CV while he was ranting about how I wasn't even shooting.

Now, it may have been better for us if I had gotten out and let him sink the CV, but how am I supposed to get any better if I don't practice?  Besides, it was fun to hear him sputter . . .

I definately do not mind the questioning E25280 and thank you for the response, but that is why it is on the wishlist. If he/she is new to the game, communication with helping that individual would be a lot quicker.

CV was with-in 5K to 8K directly in front of SB for over 30minutes.  The main furball fight took place right in front of the SB.  With over 15 other countryman speaking out on range and typing it out, "who is in the shore battery?" I would love to say the person in the SB was just not adept but I find that hard to believe.

It can happen, but one night I too saw the same thing.

Setup:
NME port at the end of a large bay.
Island at outlet of bay.
We had airbase at outlet.
Cv drives within spitting distance of shore bat.
No rounds from shore bat.
Ok, maybe it's not where shore bat can hit it.
Cv is sunk by other means.
Cv spawns at nme port
Shore bat is available....  (suprise!!)
I get into shore bat and see that CLEARLY it was where it could be hit.

Go fly some...

Cv is geting close to base again, shore bat unavailable and silent again....

If we can't get some way devised to remove players who can't by any other means take a base, at least allow us to see who the sissy is.

I am guessing if there was some way to id this panzy, it might happen less.  A panzy is a panzy, and panzy's don't want to be identified.

The majority of lanstuka pilots are idiots when it comes to flying the bombers out of bases. They try to up while the field is capped.

I don't use Lanstukas, and I can bomb very well from high alt. I like to use 234s for CV killing.
