AH Film Viewer
« on: January 26, 2008, 05:14:15 PM »
Call me nutz but my film viewer seems to have vanished. I can't open AH films. I've hunted through the HTC AH folder and can't find it. Don't find on the HTC home page "downloads" section either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks :aok

Windows start button, all programs, Aces High, right below the AH.exe should find AHII Film Viewer.

T'aint there, Ghosth. The film viewer help files are, but not the viewer itself. It's like it just uninstalled itself or dissappeared.

I can't look on mine Max... it's been dead for months. Think I'll order the new one next week though.

In that case max, save settings folder, save sounds, gunsights, and everything else you like.

Uninstall and reinstall AHII, start it and then drop saved folders back in.

Although I can NOT imagine what would have eaten it.

I suspect your overdue for a comeplete wipe, partition, reformat, reinstall windows.

Its the one sure way to kill off the gremlins!

ahfilm.exe installs with the game Max.  If that file is missing, then someone either moved  it from the installation folder, or removed the file.

Search for it first.  If it is indeed gone, you do not have to remove the game.  Just reinstall the game.  Nothing will get hurt/damaged from installing the game.

Bizarre. Just did a search for ahfilm.exe - nada came back. NewEgg's due to deliver the parts for my new rig today so a fresh install of AH and a clean slate should fix the problem.
