Yaw effects for losing an engine

Anyone but me notice that losing one (or more) engines on a multi-engine A/C does not effect yaw?

I am no expert but it seems to me that it should, especially concerning turns. IE: Turning into or away from the wing with the dead engine(s).

To my experience losing an engine only effects available thrust and does not effect how the plane flies.

I might be jumping the gun here and HTC has simply not had the chance to model this yet or does not intend to. If that is the case, please disregard.

I don't know to what degree it is implemented, but asymmetric thrust seems to be somewhat modeled, i.e. I have to keep speed up, apply rudder and elevator, and look for a landing place. Usually I have to maintain a shallow dive to keep enough speed to compensate for control deflection drag.

Mino,  it seems to be modeled but the effects are minimal in cruise flight.  Try flying a B-26 or C-47 at approach speed, cut an engine then firewall the other.  Lots of rudder and aileron are needed to counteract for the lost engine.

But heres something slightly off subject:

Have you guys ever lost a vertical stab in a 109g10? The plane starts to slip sideways (torque of the engine I would guess), more and more, I cut the engine hoping to stabilize it somewhat, but its too late! The thing starts to roll over and I'm doomed  . I tumble violently to the ground! All in all, what I think is a great job on the modeling.

Truly terrifying.

Almost makes you want to get your plane shot up, just to see the realistic violent characteristics of a plane missing some parts.

Little off-topic, but, follow-up to Heaths post, I've successfully put a 109 into an inverted flat spin, never been able to reproduce an inverted flat spin with other sims (except when vital parts are blown away)
