« on: January 30, 2008, 06:56:44 PM »
Was on a couple weeks ago with my CO, and i heard there were alot of players from the DC/MD/VA area.

Me and caveman ( aapache ) was thinking about putting together a get together for the locals,  you know pop on the metro, hang out at union station, share some jokes, tips, laughs :)

I am a NoVa resident.

p.s. sent you a few PM's on the game.  You getting them?

I know of a couple of more locals, but I will let them chime in..

Lived in the DC area all my life...out on the shore, in DE, now.  Just about an hour back to the old houses in Silver Spring, or Arlington.

I'm back in that area on a regular basis so...let me know.

SCCA, :p , I'll come visit you too.

I was born there, the old Miner's Hospital, it's a nursiong home now. Graduated from Beall High school. I know the place real well. It's only 9 miles west of where I now live.

NFW!!!
Until his death, my grandfather owned the house next to the elks lodge.  I think there's a Domino's on the other side of it.  There used to be an insurance business in it.

My mother also graduated from Beall.  I am sure you are sad to see it go.

Small world..

Do remember when the truck hit Stupies restaurant, or are you too young for that?

I know the house.

Guess that's progress, what can ya say.

I was stationed in Texas when that truck wiped out alot more than Stupies. Killed a local Judges wife, and when the driver came up for trial, the Judge was denied from presiding over the case.  Good thing for the driver.

How dare you use such foul language...there are kids on here...
My pariah emblem was lost somewhere over A168 the other night
and all I could pull from the wreckage was the EGA, still on fire. :D

I'm going to be down that way in early March for the weekend.  I'll be solo, but
still well within the effective range of wife ack.

I'll drop you a line.
