Oh no, Pipz, you misunderstood. :P

The Spitfire VIII has clipped ailerons. All Production Spitfire VII's VIII's and XIV's had their ailerons clipped by 8.5", regardless of wingspan.

But honestly, that model looks AMAZING. I couldn't make one like that for my life.

Ahhhh I dig what your sayin Pappy.Because they use the same mold for all theyre later spitfire kits they have the full length aileron. But it ya look close I think there is a seem that would be for the shorter aileron.I just forget to fill and sand the excess sometimes.I gotta have another closer look but I think thats what your gettin at.Next one I do ill make sure of it!

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for having a look!

That's something I've not seen, actually.

Same with the F4u.

I'd be really keen to build a 1/32 F4u but I've never seen one. The F4u looks fantastic, it's the only Allied aircraft that I like the look of.

The 38 has working flaps too. I wonder if they automatically retract if you sling it through the air real quick  :t

Very nice!

Does the Trump 1/32 F4U let you put the wings up or down? I thought I read a review once that said you could only build it folded.

I am going to have to get that P-38... it sounds like an awesome kit.

I love 1/32 scale
