Flight Model in DA is the same as MA, right?

Last time I was in the DA, the planes I was flying felt a little different. Maybe more sluggish or heavier, I guess.

Was it my imagination, or is the flight model different in the Dueling Arena than the Main Arenas?

I'm betting it's my imagination, but I might as well check and be sure...

Flight model is definately the same, but yes, sometimes, when jumping arenas, planes feel like they respond better and sometimes they feel, as you've said, sluggish.

Often it helps if you exit AH and restart the game, sometimes it doesn't.

Haven't figured if it's related to stick responsiveness, server lag, or some strange combination of the things, maybe even the USB.

Its depends who you fight against, not in which arena you do.
When i fight rooky my plane fly smooth, turn tight and all bullets hit right in cockpit. When i fight vet my plane becomes harsh, unstable and heavy, and looks like i cannt hit a wall with 6x12.

Llama i was just in the DA tonight messing around with EW A/C.

All seemed normal to me. I've been here since jeebuz was a cowboy, and all the arena's have the same flight modelling.

Fuel burn is at 1.0 in the DA..  MA is set to 2.0

Be careful which bases you up from.  Some of the bases you already start at a decent altitude, which will make your plane seem sluggish if you are used to starting at sea level.

Yes, as stated, the fuel burn rate is different, which will cause your a/c to retain more fuel over the same period of time and make it heavier.

The Flight Model/Setup in all the arenas are the same.

Even in AvA or Special Events we do not "tweak" with any flight settings.

As was already mentioned, in the DA you tend to only have 25% fuel and that does make the planes fly diff.

I too have had "issues" in various arenas where it "seemed" like I was flying underwater (best way to describe it, and it's quite rare that it happens) and that is usually fixed with a quick reboot and relog.  But THAT would be something on my end, or my connection, as opposed to any "setting" in the DA.
